Brackenfields Shopping Centre is a stone's throw north of Christchurch and captures over 11,000 vehicles movements per day being the majority of upper South Island traffic on State Highway 1.

Brackenfields is a neighbourhood shopping centre which is anchored by supermarket giant - Countdown and supported by 16 specialty tenancies including a pharmacy, bakery and cafe, fish and chip shop and an ATM. 

Built in 2014 on a strong agricultural local economy, the centre is serviced well by the established provincial township and the wider rural Hurunui District population.
